NORMAL SOUNDS OF AN AIR CONDITIONER can be directed up-down and left to right. (See Fig.24) NORMAL SOUNDS Your new air conditioner is designed to give you many years of dependable service. This section tells you how to clean and care for your air conditioner properly. SOUNDS Air movement Window vibration Pinging High pitched hum Clicking Gurgling REASON Air rotating around the fan. Installation not correct. Refer to Install section Water droplets being thrown against the outside coil. This helps cool the condenser coil. You can reduce this noise by removing the subbase water plug. (See Fig.27) Removing this plug will lower the Energy Efficiency of your unit. NOTE: Do not drill hole in base pan.
