English TV RATING Block Off 1. Press M (MENU), press V-CHIP 2. When TV Rating is selected, press M (MENU) will bring to screen the following table 3. TV-Rating TV-Y TV-Y7 V TV-G TV-PG V V V V TV-14 V V V V TV-MA V V V V Rating FV V S L D All items marked with V are blocked. If you would like to block all items in the table, move the cursor to the cell on top left of the table, then press M (MENU). 1. Press M (MENU), press V-CHIP 2. When BLOCK is highlighted with red, press M (MENU), BLOCK options BLOCK OFF and BLOCK ON display. Note: BLOCK OFF means block function is turned off, and V-CHIP function will not act to input v-chip signal even if you have set TV RATING and MPAA RATING. BLOCK ON means block function is activated. If you have set TV RATING and MPAA RATING, the V-CHIP function will act to input V-CHIP signal. 1 If you wish to unblock all items, move the cursor to the left bottom cell and press M (MENU) twice. 2 To block a certain item, press CH+ and CH- to select a line, and press M (MENU) to specify the line, then, use VOL+ and VOL- to select the item you want to block, press M (MENU) to block it. 3 To unblock a blocked item, repeat the above process 4 Press V-CHIP to return to V-CHIP menu MPAA Rating 1. Press M (MENU) press V-CHIP 2. When MPAA RATING is highlighted with red. Press M (MENU), MPAA RATING options displays 3. To select all options, move the cursor by pressing CH+ and CH- to the left to corner and press M (MENU). 4. To cancel all selections, move the cursor to the left bottom corner and press M (MENU) twice. 5. This subdirectory only allows selection on the cursor pointed item and its upper directory. 6. Press V-CHIP to return to V-CHIP MENU. 5
