How to Steam Iron (cont.) 7 To turn iron off, set Adjustable Steam Switch to (Dry Iron). 8 Turn the Temperature Control Dial to OFF. Unplug iron and let cool. 9 Empty water from iron following directions in "Care and Cleaning." POSITION SENSING/AUTO SHUTOFF The iron will turn off automatically when left in the following positions.
