Remove Filter: Remove lid, grasp filter, pull out and slide up to remove. To clean the filter, rinse it under running water and brush with a soft brush. An old, clean toothbrush works well. 3. Replace Filter: Set screen into opening. Slide down and into place. 4. To avoid scale/lime deposit build-up, empty kettle after each use. 3. Wipe the exterior of kettle with a damp cloth.
