Wash cutting head assembly in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Can also be placed in top rack of dishwasher. 4. Wipe the can opener body and the area behind the cutting head assembly with a damp cloth. Never immerse the can opener in water. 5. To re-assemble, raise lever slightly then slide the assembly onto the body until the release button clicks into place.
