Required tool You will need a Phillips screwdriver. Installing the vertical fixed mounting bracket 1. Remove one of the cord retention brackets from the PDU. Installation 11 - HP 22.1kVA | HP Power Distribution Unit with Power Monitoring (Models S348, S340 - Page 12

5. Attach the device power cords to the PDU. 6. (Optional) Wrap a power cord retention band around each power cord, and insert the end of the power cord retention band into the appropriate slot on the PDU mounting bracket. Installing the swinging mounting brackets 1. Remove the top two screws and the two bottom two screws securing each cord retention bracket to the PDU. Save the four screws. 2. For a standard mount (right side of the rack with the circuit breakers at the bottom, or left side of the rack with the - HP 22.1kVA | HP Power Distribution Unit with Power Monitoring (Models S348, S340 - Page 22
For an alternative mount (right side of the rack with the circuit breakers at the top, or left side of the rack with the circuit breakers at the bottom), install the top and bottom swinging mounting brackets with the hinges on the left side of the PDU. 3. Align the screw holes on the swinging mounting brackets with the screw holes on the cord retention brackets and the PDU. 4. Slide the tabs on the PDU swinging mounting brackets into the rack frame. If you have a rack depth extension kit installed, only one tab on each bracket fits into the rack frame. Installation 24 - HP 22.1kVA | HP Power Distribution Unit with Power Monitoring (Models S348, S340 - Page 25

6. Attach the device power cords to the PDU. 7. (Optional) Wrap a power cord retention band around each power cord, and insert the end of the power cord retention band into the appropriate slot on the cord retention bracket.
