Prerequisites Multiple-path support In a multipath environment, a Linux system with EVA storage requires the installation of HP StorageWorks multipathing software on each host system to achieve high-availability, multipath capability. For detailed multipathing information, see the HP StorageWorks Using the QLogic driver for single-path or multipath failover mode on Linux systems application note. For more information about multipath options, see the HP multipath website: http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/multipathoptions/index.html VCS 3.028 to VCS 4.00x migration The Active/Active failover feature in VCS 4.00x impacts host configurations. Contact your HP service representative to configure your system and perform the migration procedure.
