Introduced Cisco MDS SAN-OS Release 2.0(1b). Error Message IVR-3-VSAN_SEGMENTED: [chars]. Explanation VSAN is segmented. VSAN is removed from the topology graph and therefore inter-VSAN traffic cannot flow through this VSAN. Recommended Action To correct the segmentation, use one of the following methods: - Modify one of the VSAN IDs so it is no longer a segmented VSAN. - Add a different AFID to one of the VSANs so the AFID/VSAN combination is unique. - Bring up a link in the segmented VSAN that goes between the two segments so that they are no longer segmented.
