4. Select Dashboard security. 5. Select Require password and client certificate to change the security configuration. 6. Press the Exit button to close the OSD. To install a user certificate on the display: 1. Copy the certificate you installed on your computer onto the root directly of a USB flash drive, and then insert it into one of the two DreamColor USB ports. 2. Press one of the front bezel buttons to display the button labels, and then press the Open Menu button to open the OSD. 3. Select Management. 4. Select Remote management services. 5. Select Install client certificate. 6. Press OK to install the certificate. Logging in to the web dashboard for the first time Once you have configured the dashboard settings, you can log in to the dashboard from a web browser. Any device on the same local network can connect to the display. The first time you connect to the dashboard you need to configure the web site. To log in to and configure the web dashboard: 1. Open a web browser. 2. Enter the display's IP address in the address bar, and then press Enter. The browser connects to the display and the initial setup screen is displayed. 3. Enter DreamColor (the default password) and click Next. If you configured the display to use certificates and used a certificate with an embedded password, enter that password instead. The dashboard prompts you to create a new password. 4. Enter a new password in the Create new and Enter again fields, and then click Next. 5. Enter the display details, and then click Next. You must enter values into the display detail fields. Four fields are provided: Display name, Deployment date, Location, and ID Asset tag. Even though you must enter information into these fields at this time, you can change this information at a later date. 6. If desired, create user names and passwords for additional users and click Add, or click Skip to bypass this option. 7. Click Done to complete the initial set up. The dashboard is now configured for use. Logging into the web dashboard To log into the web dashboard: 1. Open a web browser. 2. Enter the display IP address in the address bar, and then press Enter.
