5. Lift up on the rear edge, slide backwards, and then remove the TouchPad button board and cable (4). Fan Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad button board and cable. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the display panel (see Display panel on page 31). 5. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 33). 6. Remove the battery cable (see Battery on page 35). Remove the fan: 1.
