Description Intel Dual Core i3-3120M 2.50-GHz processor (1333-MHz FSB, 3.0-MB L3 cache, 35 W) Intel Dual Core i3-3110M 2.30-GHz processor (1333-MHz FSB, 3.0-MB L3 cache, 35 W) Intel Dual Core i3-2370M 2.40-GHz processor (1333-MHz FSB, 3.0-MB L3 cache, 35 W) Spare part number 700627-001 682417-001 677152-001 Before removing the processor, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 51), and then remove the following components: a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 52) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 59) c. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 61) d. Top cover (see Top cover on page 66) e. System board (see System board on page 77) Remove the processor: 1. Turn the system board upside down, with the front toward you. 2. Use a flat-bladed screw driver (1) to turn the processor locking screw one-half turn counterclockwise (2), until you hear a click.
