Storage system software The HP System Software for Enterprise Virtual Array v5.030 must be installed on the Enterprise Virtual Array. This software is preinstalled on each new storage system; it should not be necessary to reinstall it. Software installation If the required versions of software are not installed, they must be installed in the following order. 1. If necessary, upgrade to HP OpenView Storage Management Server Software v2.1. Instructions for installing the Storage Management Server software are included with the software. 2. HP StorageWorks Command View EVA v4.1. Instructions for installing Command View EVA are included with the software. 3. HP System Software for Enterprise Virtual Array v5.030. This software is preinstalled on each Enterprise Virtual Array. It should not be necessary to reinstall it. If it is necessary to reinstall the system software, it is included in the HP StorageWorks EVA4000/6000/8000 v5.0a controller media kit.
