HP continues to partner with Altiris to manage HP thin clients. Altiris Deployment Solution is a leading tool for quick deployment and ongoing management of thin clients in your organization. With your thin client hardware purchase, you are entitled to a complimentary, current release of Altiris Deployment Solution. For additional information, refer to the Quick Setup and Getting Started Guide that came with your thin client, and visit the Altiris Web site at http://www.altiris.com/. To begin managing the thin client with Altiris, you will need to complete the following steps: 1. Register the software at the Altiris registration Web site at http://www.altiris.com/hptc. Links to the software, product documentation, and online training on how to use Altiris Deployment Server with the thin client are provided when you register on the Altiris Web site. 2. Download the Deployment Solution console. 3. Follow the instructions in the Deployment Solution Product Guide from Altiris to install and configure the Deployment Solution on a server. See www.altiris.com/support/documentation/. Your complimentary copy of the Altiris Deployment Solution is governed by the Altiris Software License Agreement, which you are deemed to have agreed to by installing the software. This complimentary copy of the software is non-transferable and may only be used to remotely manage an HP thin client.
