6. Install new BIDs. Or reinstall the used BIDs if you have saved them. 7. If an ILP is installed: a. Fill the distilled water/cleaning solution tank b. Install the ILP coating rollers. c. Remove the Corona electrode from the Corona unit. Do the following: i. Using IPA, clean the ceramic electrode bars and isolators. ii. Using IPA, clean between the ceramic electrode bars. iii. Using IPA, clean the corona carbon brush. iv. Using IPA, clean inside the Corona unit. v. Gently blow air into the generator. d. Reinstall the Corona electrode into the Corona unit. e. Visually inspect that there is no leak from the ILP exhaust. 8. Inspect the electrical cabinet. If necessary, use air pressure to clean: ● Filters ● Digitax 9. Turn on the press and ILP (if installed). 10. Load a substrate roll on the unwinder. Load an empty core on the rewinder. 11. Replace all supplies, ink cartridges, filters, the sponge roller, and the wetting roller. 12. Reinstall the inks that were drained into closed containers. 13. If necessary, rebuild all inks with the first calibration cartridge. Validate the ink conductivity. 14. Check that the writing head window and the IR sensors are clean. 15. Change the press status to Ready. 16. Print the following jobs: ● CATP.jlt ● Gray_20%.jlt ● Banding2.jlt ● FOCUS.jlt ● 4 PIX.jlt 17. Check print quality. Send the prints to a specialist for validation. 18. Make sure that the press software is up-to-date. 19. Check with the Technical Group for any service notes that need to be implemented.
