Insert the main bracket into the rack front as shown in Figure 3, setting the rear main bracket on the support pins on the rear side brackets shown in Figure 4. Installing the Shipping Bracket
The following installation procedure is for rack-mounted models of the server.
Install a Main Bracket in the rack after every 20 servers installed with this procedure or below each server that is not part
of a supported stack.

to install each Main Bracket in the rack.
1.
Install 8 M5 clip nuts (0590-2318) in the space below the lowest server in the rack, two each on each side of the front
and back rails. Install the clip nuts in the top and bottom holes within the space as shown in
Figure 1
.

Install each rear side bracket using two M5 (0515-3019) screws shown in
Figure 2
. Do not fully tighten the screws.

(right) markings indicate the correct side for installation as seen from the front of the rack. The support
pin should be facing inward.
