hp Server Shipping Bracket Installation The following includes steps to install a shipping bracket in the hp Integrity rx1600 Server. Install a Main Bracket in the rack after every 20 servers installed with this procedure or below each server that is not part of a supported stack. Repeat Step 1 through Step 5 to install each Main Bracket in the rack. 1. Install 8 M5 clip nuts (0590-2318) in the space below the lowest server in the rack, two each on each side of the front and back rails. Install the clip nuts in the top and bottom holes within the space as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1. Clip Nut Installation on hp Rack System E 2. Install each rear side bracket using two M5 (0515-3019) screws shown in Figure 2. Do not fully tighten the screws. L (left) and R (right) markings indicate the correct side for installation as seen from the front of the rack.
