Beep, POST, and Error Codes A A Beep Codes If an error occurs during the POST, which prevents the PC Workstation from starting, and before the display device has been initialized, a series of beep codes are issued. Beep codes indicate that a fatal error has occurred and can be reported one after another if there is more than one detected error. In this case, the first detected error is the most important.
