4. Connect the BBM cable, as shown in Figure 4. 5. Connect the HP NetServer power cord(s), and turn on power to the HP NetServer. 6. Observe the LEDs on the BBM shown in Figure 4. ◊ The red and green LEDs should light for 5 seconds, and then go off. This indicates that the BBM status is normal. ◊ The green LED should then flash on and off to indicate that the battery is being fast charged. Fast charging can take up to 120 minutes. ◊ When charging is complete, the green LED stays on to indicate that the BBM is now in service. NOTE While the BBM is charging, the integrated HP NetRAID memory may not be backed up for the normal 72 hours. 12
