Cluster Configuration Guide
15 May 2000
Introduction
This document defines a supported cluster using the HP SureStore E Disk Array FC60 and the HP NetServer LH
6000 and Microsoft Cluster Server. This configuration eliminates single points of failure (SPOF), provides
maximum availability, and has been certified by Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft.
This guide is prescriptive; it
describes a configuration supported by HP.
Any deviance to this configuration can result in an inoperative
cluster or an operating cluster with degraded performance, hidden SPOFs, etc., and therefore will not be
supported by HP.
For all supported configurations, refer to the HP SureStore E Disk Array FC60 for Windows
Configuration Guide.
