Adaptable and Scalable to Meet Your Unique
Business Needs
Designed for ease of use and flexibility, AppManager for
HP TopTools is fully adaptable and customizable. Using
AppManager’s point-and-click interface, you can quickly
customize pre-packaged business rules known as
Knowledge Scripts to change thresholds and corrective
actions defined for various events. You can even build
your own Knowledge Scripts using the Visual Basic for
Applications (VBA) scripting language to manage your
own in-house applications.
AppManager for HP TopTools is also highly scaleable.
The AppManager Suite is built utilizing an advanced
multi-tier architecture that can scale as your organization’s
Windows NT and BackOffice deployment grows.
The
architecture is reliable and efficient, using an exception-
based communications mechanism to minimize network
traffic and an intelligent agent technology that can continue
to monitor your environments regardless of the status of
the network connection.
And because the AppManager
Suite repository is based-on Microsoft SQL Server, it is
easy to extract, replicate, and report on management data.
