Network setup NOTE: Some menus may not appear in the display depending on options or models. If so, it is not applicable to your machine. To change the menu options: Press Menu > Network on the control panel. Option TCP/IP (IPv4) TCP/IP (IPv6) Ethernet Protocol Management Network Configuration Clear Settings Description Selects the appropriate protocol and configure parameters to use the network environment. NOTE: There are lots of parameters to be set. If you are not sure, leave as is, or consult the network administrator. Selects this option to use the network environment through IPv6. Configure the network transmission speed or port. NOTE: Turn the power off and on after you change this option. HTTP You can set whether to use Web Service or not. NOTE: Turn the power off and on after you change this option to Off. WINS You can configure the WINS server. WINS (Windows Internet Name Service) is used in the Windows operating system. SNMP V1/V2 You can set SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). Administrator's can use SNMP to monitor and manage machines on the network. UPnP(SSDP) You can set UPNP protocol. NOTE: Turn the power off and on after you change this option to Off. MDNS You can set mDNS (Multicast Domain Name System) settings. This list shows information on your machine's network connection and configuration. Reverts the network settings to the default values. Option
Description
TCP/IP (IPv4)
Selects the appropriate protocol and configure parameters to use the network
environment.
NOTE:
There are lots of parameters to be set. If you are not sure, leave as is, or consult
the network administrator.

Selects this option to use the network environment through IPv6.
Ethernet
Configure the network transmission speed or port.
NOTE:
Turn the power off and on after you change this option.
Protocol Management
HTTP
You can set whether to use Web Service or not.
NOTE:
Turn the power off and on after you change this option to

WINS
