Manual alignment procedure In the printhead alignment widget, tap Colors or White + OP under the MANUAL heading. There are two manual alignment patterns: one for colors and one for white ink. White ink alignment can be done only if you have installed the white upgrade kit. To launch manual alignment of colors, tap Colors under the MANUAL heading. The printer prints X series of patterns, each one named with a letter (A-V). You must choose the best result from each of the series (for example, number 10 in the picture below). The alignment procedure includes both the colored printheads and the optimizer/overcoat printheads, and takes about 15 minutes. It consumes printed substrate of 72 cm width × 37 cm height (28.3 × 14.6 in). NOTE: Depending on the firmware version, this pattern could be slightly different. ENWW Align the printheads 117
