The objective of this document is to provide the information needed to achieve the following tasks. · Install Turbolinux Server 6.5 from CD-ROM. · Configure network settings. Features Turbolinux Server 6.5 includes the Linux 2.2 kernel (2.2.18), and a number of packages such as samba, squid, IP chains and the apache web server. It also support Korean, Chinese and Japanese in addition to English. Requirements Disk Space: A full installation of Turbolinux Server 6.5 requires 1175 MB. Hardware settings: You will need to know the following information to complete the installation: · The monitor's resolution, color depth, and refresh rate. · The display (graphics) adapter manufacturer and model number. · The Ethernet card manufacturer, model number, IRQ, and I/O address.
