November 31, 2001 (Rev: 20011031) Introduction This document was created by Hewlett-Packard for the purpose of helping you install Turbolinux Server 6.5 on your HP NetServer, based on procedures tested by HP. The objective of this document is to provide the information needed to achieve the following tasks. · Install Turbolinux Server 6.5 from CD-ROM. · Configure network settings. Features Turbolinux Server 6.5 includes the Linux 2.2 kernel (2.2.18), and a number of packages such as samba, squid, IP chains and the apache web server. It also support Korean, Chinese and Japanese in addition to English. Requirements Disk Space: A full installation of Turbolinux Server 6.5 requires 1175 MB. Hardware settings: You will need to know the following information to complete the installation: · The monitor's resolution, color depth, and refresh rate. · The display (graphics) adapter manufacturer and model number. · The Ethernet card manufacturer, model number, IRQ, and I/O address. Other requirements:
