HP NetRAID-1M and NetRAID-2M Installation Update Sheet Option: Experienced users may press for HP NetRAID Express Tools now. NOTE HP NetRAID Express Tools will start after all the system BIOS POST completes. 1. Refer to the HP NetRAID Series User Guide, step C in Chapter 4 (titled "HP NetRAID Express Tools"), to complete the following tasks. (Note: This document can be found on the included HP Netserver Online Documentation CD-ROM, version D.24.00 or on the HP website.) Define the arrays and logical drives using either the New Configuration or Easy Configuration option from the Configure menu of HP NetRAID Express Tools. Initialize the logical drives using the Initialize option from the HP NetRAID Express Tools main menu. 2. Exit HP NetRAID Express Tools. E. Installing the HP NetRAID Series Software (New Install or Update) Complete installation of the NetRAID-1M/2M by installing the NetRAID-1M/2M driver and OS specific utility. The HP NetRAID Software Library CD that is included with the accessory kit and the HP website are the only sources for downloading the newest release of driver and utility. Do not install the NetRAID-1M/2M software from the HP NetServer Navigator CD as instructed by the HP NetRAID-1M and NetRAID-2M Installation and Configuration Guide. 1. Download the NetRAID-1M/2M OS specific driver from either the HP website or the HP NetRAID Software Library CD. Follow the OS specific instructions for driver installation as provided by your OS supplier. 2. (Update only) Uninstall the current version of the NetRAID-1M/2M utility. 3. Download the NetRAID-1M/2M OS specific utility from either the HP website or the HP NetRAID Software Library CD. Follow the directions from step K in chapter 6 of the HP NetRAID-1M and NetRAID-2M Installation and Configuration Guide to install the utility on the HP server. 4. Complete step L in chapter 6 of the HP NetRAID-1M and NetRAID-2M Installation and Configuration Guide, if needed.
