English HP PageWide XL Drawer Introductory Information What is it? This accessory for the HP PageWide XL Printer Series can accommodate up to two more rolls of 40-in wide paper for your printer. It can handle all paper types and sizes accepted by the printer if the roll inner core is 3-in diameter. This document is a supplement to the main HP PageWide XL Printer Series documentation. General safety guidelines Before using your accessory, read, understand and follow these safety precautions, and your local Environmental, Health and Safety regulations. You are expected to have the appropriate technical training and experience necessary to be aware of hazards to which you may be exposed in performing a task, and take appropriate measures to minimize the risks to yourself and to other people. • There are no operator-serviceable parts inside the drawer except those covered by HP's Customer Self Repair program (see http://www.hp.com/go/selfrepair/). Refer servicing of other parts to qualified service personnel. - There is liquid in the drawer. - There is smoke or an unusual smell coming from the drawer. - The drawer has been dropped. - The drawer is not operating normally. • Take special care with zones marked with warning labels. • The drawer has moving parts that could cause injury. To avoid personal injury, take the following precautions when working close to the drawer: - Keep your clothing and all parts of your body away from the drawer's moving parts. - Avoid wearing necklaces, bracelets, and other hanging objects. - If your hair is long, try to secure it so that it will not fall into the drawer. - Take care that sleeves or gloves do not get caught in the drawer's moving parts. - Do not touch gears or moving rolls during rolls movement. - Do not operate the drawer with covers bypassed. • See the HP PageWide XL Printer Series documentation. • Disconnect the printer and call your support representative in any of the following cases: - The drawer has been damaged by an impact. - There is any mechanical or enclosure damage. What is it?
This accessory for the HP PageWide XL
Printer Series can accommodate up to two
