HP Scitex 9000/11000/15500/17000 User Instructions A Long Duration Shutdown The following procedure should be performed when you shut down the HP Scitex 9000/11000/15500/17000 system for up to 3 weeks. Before a Long Duration Shutdown 1. Run a full maintenance cycle. 2. Lower the loader and unloader lifts to the floor. 3. In the machine application, tap Main Menu > Exit > Close Application. 4. Shut down the machine PC from the Windows Start menu. 5. Disconnect the air pressure supply to the machine. 6. Power off the machine. 7. Power off the UV cabinet and UV LED cabinet. During a Long Duration Shutdown ▪ Make sure to maintain temperature on site according to the "Site Preparation Guide". ▪ Make sure that all bridge hoods and doors are closed all the time. After a Long Duration Shutdown 1. Clean the main air filter on the main pneumatic panel. 2. Reconnect the air pressure supply to the machine. 3. Power on the machine and the UV cabinet(s). 4. Turn on the PC. 5. Start the machine application and wait until the system reaches the operating temperature. 6. Run a full maintenance cycle. 7. Run circulation for 20 min. 8. Raise the bridge and wipe the print heads. 9. Clean the vacuum knife according to Print Care maintenance wizard (Weekly Bridge Maintenance > Cleaning the Vacuum Knife).
