Error ID: 50069 - Motion -X Acopos Driver Error FB10000 Error Messages Troubleshooting Recommended actions X-axis limit sensors fault 1. Use Control Tools to check the status of the X-axis limit sensors. 2. If all sensors respond to the C-Tools commands, continue to the next step. 3. If any of the sensors or its wiring is faulty, check and correct accordingly. Top . Encoder fault 1. Inspect the state of the encoder metal strip and read head. If any of them is dirty, clean it. 2. Check the encoder (Tonic) amplifier status. Its two LEDs should be constantly lit and change their color according to the position of the encoder along the X-axis. 3. If the encoder amplifier LEDs are OFF, check first the cable connections at both ends, then check the 5V power supply coming from the X-driver and correct it if required. 4. If the amplifier LEDs fluctuate, this might indicate a cable connection fault. If this is the case, check both ends of cable CX161-00840 connecting the X-driver to the encoder amplifier. 5. Check X-encoder read head integrated cable 0960-3174. 6. If all the above checks did not solve the problem, consider replacing the X-axis encoder amplifier . Safety Sick system fault 1. Check if the Sick safety system is activated. If it was activated, enquire the reason and correct accordingly. 2. Open the machine logger and check if any Sick safety-related errors were reported in the adjacent timestamp in which the error occurred. If any error was reported, correct accordingly. 3. If after the above checks, the error persists, contact your HP specialist for assistance. 2

FB10000 Error Messages Troubleshooting
Recommended actions
X-axis limit sensors fault
1.
Use Control Tools to check the status of the X-axis limit sensors.
2.
If all sensors respond to the C-Tools commands, continue to the next step.
3.
If any of the sensors or its wiring is faulty, check and correct accordingly.
.
Encoder fault
1.
Inspect the state of the encoder metal strip and read head. If any of them is dirty,
clean it.
2.
Check the encoder (Tonic) amplifier status. Its two LEDs should be constantly lit and
change their color according to the position of the encoder along the X-axis.
3.
If the encoder amplifier LEDs are OFF, check first the cable connections at both ends,
then check the 5V power supply coming from the X-driver and correct it if required.
4.
If the amplifier LEDs fluctuate, this might indicate a cable connection fault. If this is
the case, check both ends of cable CX161-00840 connecting the X-driver to the
encoder amplifier.
5.
Check X-encoder read head integrated cable 0960-3174.
6.
If all the above checks did not solve the problem, consider replacing the X-axis encoder amplifier .
Safety Sick system fault
1.
Check if the Sick safety system is activated. If it was activated, enquire the reason and correct
accordingly.
2.
Open the machine logger and check if any Sick safety-related errors were reported in the adjacent timestamp in which the error
occurred. If any error was reported, correct accordingly.
3.
If after the above checks, the error persists, contact your HP specialist for assistance.
