If the default domain ID is already in use when the switch is connected to the fabric, the domain ID for the new switch is automatically reset to a unique value. The domain IDs that are currently in use can be determined using the telnet command fabricShow. 1. Disable the switch by entering the following: switchDisable 2. Enter the following: configure 3. Enter y after the Fabric parameters prompt. Fabric parameters (y, n) 4. Enter a unique domain ID (such as the domain ID used by the previous switch, if still available). Domain: (1..239) [1] 3 5. Modifying Domain IDs
Optional.
Modify the domain IDs, if desired, as follows.
Note:
The default domain ID is 1. If the default domain ID is already in use when the
switch is connected to the fabric, the domain ID for the new switch is automatically reset
to a unique value. The domain IDs that are currently in use can be determined using the
telnet command
fabricShow
