Updating the Core Switch PID Format Note: All switches running any version of Fabric OS 4.x are shipped with the Core Switch PID Format enabled, so it is not necessary to perform the PID format change on these switches. The actual process of changing the PID format is quite simple. Telnet into each switch in the fabric, and disable the switch using the switchDisable command. Use the configure command to change the parameter as shown in the following example: Example switch:admin> switchdisable switch:admin> configure Configure...
