DiscoveryRefresh (obsolete) NOTE: This command is obsolete. See comments below for details. The command causes the replication manager to check its database for available resources. The command was previously used to ensure that resource properties from the database are used in conjunction with job commands, rather than using properties from the server cache memory, which might not have been up to date. Syntax and arguments When initially inserted into a job (with a prior version), the command syntax and default arguments were: DiscoveryRefresh ( ) No parameters are required. Examples DiscoveryRefresh ( ) Comments • Associated validation commands. None • Agent and license prerequisites. None • Command result value. None. None • The DiscoveryRefresh command is obsolete as of version 2.0; however, the command can appear in jobs that were created with prior versions of the replication manager. • HP recommends that you remove the command from previously created jobs. Exit Adds an exit point to the job and defines the resulting job return code. See job exits. Syntax and arguments When initially inserted into a job, the command syntax and default arguments are: Exit ( SUCCESS ) Exit Status. Select or enter a job status for this exit point. Choices are success and failure. Choose success to terminate the job and issue a return code indicating successful job execution.
