Supported product models Fabric OS 3.2.1b firmware is supported on the following switches only. • HP StorageWorks MSA SAN switch 2/8 (SilkWorm 3000) • HP StorageWorks SAN Switch 2/16 (SilkWorm 3800) Operating systems See http://www.hp.com for a list of supported operating systems. Fixes Table 1 lists defects that have been closed since the release of Fabric OS 3.2.1. Table 1 Closed defects Closed Defects Third party tape drives did not respond to Login (L) bit, based on switch lock L port configuration. After executing switchdisable or switchenable in a large, secure fabric, some SAN Switch 2/16 models experienced queue overflow and rebooted. During in-house testing on large fabrics, all switches in a 30-switch fabric become isolated. Using Web Tools, received a pop up message NO PERFORMANCE LICENSE during basic monitoring. If not upgrading to this latest release, the workaround is to install the Advanced Performance Monitoring (APM) license. config upload failed on switches supporting a large Zone database. If not upgrading to this latest release, the workaround is to save the config database using the CLI. The SAN Switch 2/16 running 3.2.0 panics during zoning updates in Interop mode. SAN Switch 2/16 models used incorrect buffer-to-buffer (BB) credits when switch BB credit was set less than device BB credit. If not upgrading to this latest release, the workaround is to increase the switch BB credit limit to >= device BB credit limit. Short burst of bad primitives on the link causes rx_under flow error. If two or more ports zoned together on a SAN Switch 2/16, ZONEGROUPADDFAIL message displayed. Email configured via Fabric Watch was not received on certain third party mail servers. 4
