Operating system requirements Following are the operating system requirements for HP MPIO MSA DSM: • Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (x86, IA64 and x64) • Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2 (x86, IA64 and x64) • Windows Server 2003 R2 with Service Pack 2 (x86 and x64) • Windows Server 2008 (x86, IA64 and x64) • Windows Server 2008 - Server Core (x86 and x64) Supported storage systems The HP MPIO MSA DSM supports the following disk array: • MSA1000/1500 (Active-Active) with firmware version 6.x or above Prerequisite drivers HP StorageWorks RAID storage systems are generally installed with a Solution Software kit, such as the Fibre Channel Installation kit. These kits install or update certain drivers necessary for using HP StorageWorks products with Windows. For information about Host Bus Adapter (HBA) drivers, refer to the HP web site: http://www.hp.com/country/us/eng/prodserv/storage.html. Configuration limits Table 1 lists the configuration limits for the HP MPIO MSA DSM.
