Installing a license NOTE: As with viewing license information, only administrators can install licenses. If you have already purchased a license for an HP StoreOnce VSA device but have not yet installed it: 1. Locate the license order number for your software from HP, and determine the MAC address of the system on which you installed the HP StoreOnce Enterprise Manager. 2. Access http://webware.hp.com, and then follow the on-screen instructions to generate the license key. 3. Save the license file to the system on which the HP StoreOnce Enterprise Manager is installed. 4. From the License tab, click Install License.... 5. Click the ... button to browse to the location of the downloaded license file. 6. Click Ok. The license will install, and you will receive a confirmation message. The license status changes after the license is applied. Viewing storage information On an HP StoreOnce VSA device, administrators can view the current storage allocation. NOTE: Only administrators can see the Storage tab and view related storage information. To view storage information, navigate to the Current Issues tab (see "Accessing the Current Issues screen " (page 44)). Then, click the Storage tab. The screen shows the current allocated capacity, expandable capacity, and datastores. It also shows a table with datastore information, including datastore free space, capacity, and maximum file size. 70 Managing devices

Installing a license

If you have already purchased a license for an HP StoreOnce VSA device but have not yet installed

Viewing storage information
On an HP StoreOnce VSA device, administrators can view the current storage allocation.
NOTE:
Only administrators can see the
Storage
tab and view related storage information.
To view storage information, navigate to the
Current Issues
