Note The magazines come in sets of 8-slot magazines (4 sets) and 6-slot magazines (2 sets). Each magazine (set of cartridge slots) comes as two identical sides. To upgrade to a C1160F/G/H with 4 drives and 64 slots, a drive upgrade (C1154F/G/H) AND this capacity upgrade must be installed. NOTE that only the 8-slot magazines (32 slots) should be installed during the capacity upgrade in this situation (in the positions indicated in Figure 3). To upgrade to a C1170F/G/H with 76 slots, install all the magazines included in the upgrade kit in the positions indicated in Figure 3. Note that the 6-slot magazines are installed in the area where the drives would be installed in a 2 drive upgrade. 1. Install the appropriate number of cartridge slots (32 or 44).
