HP Factory Installed Third-party Operating System and Application Software HP warrants for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the purchase the installation and configuration of the HP factory installed third-party operating system and application software. HP does not warrant that the functionality of the third-party operating system and software will be uninterrupted or error free. During the 90-day warranty period, in the event software fails to execute its programming instructions during the installation and/or configuration, HP will provide customers with remote assistance(by phone and/or by email) for installation and configuration. Usage and consulting related support are not covered under this warranty and may be obtained at additional expense. Software Product Limited Replacement Warranty The HP Software Product Limited Replacement Warranty will apply to all Software that is provided to you by HP as part of the HP Server/HP Netserver, such as HP Utility Software, for the 90-day period specified below. This warranty will also cover third-party operating system software and any other application software that may be HP factory pre-installed. This HP Software Product Limited Replacement Warranty will supersede any non-HP software warranty terms that may be found in any documentation or other materials contained in the computer product packaging with respect to covered software. Software That Is Not Covered HP does not warrant non-HP factory installed third-party software or documentation that is not factory installed/distributed by HP. These products may be warranted by the third party in accordance with the third-party warranty statement accompanying the product. On-site visits caused by non-HP factory installed/distributed third-party software products are subject to standard per-incident travel and labor charges. 90-day Limited Software Replacement Warranty HP warrants for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the purchase that the Software will execute its programming instructions when all files are properly installed. HP does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error free. In the event that this software product fails to execute its programming instructions during the warranty period, Customer's remedy will be to return the media to HP for a replacement. Should HP be unable to replace the media within 10 business days , Customer's alternate remedy will be a refund of the purchase price (license fee) upon return of the product and all copies. Notice of Warranty Claims All warranty claims must be made during the applicable warranty period. Any claim made after that time will not be eligible for warranty service but may be serviced under a separate HP support contract covering the product. -14-
