* Software Requirements The version of OpenGL shipped with the HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) December 2002 release requires use of the HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) December 2002 release or later, and the corresponding X11 release. * Hardware Requirements The HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) December 2002 release supports 3D graphics APIs on both Series 700 and 800 computers. For detailed information about supported graphics configurations (HP-UX computers combined with bit-mapped graphics devices) consult the "Graphics Administration Guide" (see above). * Operating System Platform Requirements Users who want to take advantage of the updates to the HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) December 2002 release must update to this new release. * Disk Space Requirements Use swinstall to determine necessary and available disk space for the 3D graphics API you wish to install. * New Version of OpenGL The OpenGL library that supports the new hp Fire GL-UX graphics device is completely different than the OpenGL libraries that support the HP-VISUALIZE family of graphics devices. The new OpenGL library is compatible with all current OpenGL applications. 5. PATCHES AND FIXES IN THIS VERSION The version of OpenGL shipped with the HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) (December 2002) release incorporates all cumulative patches and bug fixes contained in the most recent OpenGL periodic patch. 6. PRODUCT/RELEASE MATRIX For information about supported devices and HP-UX operating system releases, consult the latest edition of the OpenGL Documentation Web Page located on the current Release Media or at http://www.hp.com/visualize/support. 7. SOFTWARE AVAILABILITY IN NATIVE LANGUAGES Localization is not planned for any 3D graphics API or the corresponding documentation in the HP-UX 11.0 Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) December 2002 release.
