We do offer mixed drives on the HPIKL (FreeDos) configuration. footnote 6 - Hardware RAID is not supported on Linux Systems and this includes the Promise SATA Raid Card, Onboard SATA Chipset Raid, Adaptec 2120S SCSI Raid Card, LSI 20320 A-R SCSI Card, Onboard SCSI Chipset Raid. The Linux kernel, with built-in software RAID, provides excellent functionality and performance. It is a good alternative to hardware-based RAID. footnote 7 - The xw4300 can support up to 4 SATA drives, in order to support the 3rd and 4th SATA drive the customer will need the Optical Bay Conversion Kit for each drive. footnote 8 - The ATI v5100 is not supported due to Vesa driver issues during install. Please refer to the Release Notes Chapter in http://www.hp.com/support/linux_user_manual for instructions on how to install the ATI driver. footnote 9 - Keyboard/Mouse interface must be either PS2 or USB; mixing is not supported footnote 10 - For RHEL3 U5, download the ALSA Sound Support softpaq from http://www.hp.com/support/xw4300.
