HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator Module Installation Instructions for HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosures Installing Onboard Administrator modules The HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure is shipped with one HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator module installed and can support up to two Onboard Administrator modules. Install Onboard Administrator modules based on the total number ordered: • One Onboard Administrator module: Bay 1 • Two Onboard Administrator modules: Bays 1 and 2 Install an Onboard Administrator blank in an unused Onboard Administrator bay. NOTE: When two Onboard Administrator modules are installed, the module installed in Bay 1 is active and the module installed in Bay 2 is redundant. To install an Onboard Administrator module: 1. Remove the Onboard Administrator blank, if present. a. Press the button on the front of the blank to release the handle. b. Pull the handle, and slide the Onboard Administrator blank out of the Onboard Administrator tray. 2. Slide the Onboard Administrator module into the Onboard Administrator tray, and close the handle.
