Shipping your HP Workstation If shipping your HP xw6, HP xw8 or HP xw9 series Workstation, it is recommended to install the shipping support arm. For standard desktop use, the shipping support is not required. Adding Support Arm to Card Support Assembly (xw8 and xw9 Series Only) 1. Add a new arm and insert it from bottom of the housing. The new arm needs to support the X-Fi card, so choose the correct location. Your workstation likely has other support arms already installed over other slots (not shown in picture). 2. Slide the arm back to lock it in place. 3. Engage the hooks in the openings along the edge of the rear of the chassis.
