The xw9300 can support up to 2.0TB of SATA storage. The supported choices are shown in the flowchart, starting with the selection of SATA or SCSI for the first drive. Note that if the first drive selected is a SCSI drive, all subsequent drives must be SCSI drives. There are no restrictions on the number of drives in the xw9300 with factory-ordered configurations. However, when configuring the system with dual high end graphics cards not supplied by HP (which can draw up to 150W each) there may be restrictions on the number of disk drives, amount of memory, or number of CPUs that can be supported.
