Post deployment tasks The deployed image might require more customization. For example, the write filter status, domain membership, and Auto Logon are not set up. Note: After the WES7P image is deployed, the system does not start automatically until the settings, such as time zone and region, have been configured from the client side. To download the MDT 2012 x64, go to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25175. 2. Install the package and be sure to keep the default settings. 3. After the installation completes, navigate to Start > All programs > Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. Click Configure ConfigMgr Integration. 4. Select Install the MDT extensions for Configuration Manager and check both Install the MDT console extensions for ConfigMgr 2012 and Add the MDT task sequence actions to a ConfigMgr server. Fill in the site server name and site code. Click Next. Note: Make sure that the SCCM console is closed when configuring the Configure ConfigMgr Integration. The Configure ConfigMgr Integration loads the SCCM information automatically if the SCCM Console has been launched before, so that you do not have to fill in the site server name and site code manually. 5. Click Finish. 6. Launch the SCCM Console. Navigate to Software Library > Operating Systems, and right-click Task Sequences. Verify that Create MDT Task Sequence is available. 8
