TCP on WiFi Standard TCP traffic acknowledgments interfere with the transmission of useful data on a WiFi network (Figure 6). With LiveWiFi enabled, HP Velocity modifies the rate of TCP acknowledgments to reduce protocol overhead and improve network performance.
