3 Settings This chapter provides an overview of the programs in Settings , the control panel for the Linux-based thin client image. Many of the programs are used for local administration while others, such as Network Management, are used for remote administration. To open Settings, select Go >Settings from the desktop. Date/Time The Date/Time Properties dialog box is used to set the date and current time, select the appropriate time zone, and enable NTP (Network Time Protocol). To open the Date/Time Properties dialog box, select Go > Settings > Date/Time or click the clock icon on the panel bar. Select the appropriate date and time information. Settings
This chapter provides an overview of the programs in Settings , the

To open Settings, select
Go >Settings f
rom the desktop.
Date/Time
The Date/Time Properties dialog box is used to set the date and
current time, select the appropriate time zone, and enable NTP
(Network Time Protocol).
To open the Date/Time Properties dialog box, select
Go > Settings >
Date/Time
or click the clock icon on the panel bar.
Select the appropriate date and time information. To enable NTP,
check the
Enable Network Time Protocol
box and click the
Apply
button.
