A buzzing sound may be heard when the plasma television is turned on in a very quiet room. This is due to the plasma panel drive circuit when it is functioning. The buzzing sound is normal and is not a malfunction. 2 Infrared interference Some infrared rays are emitted from the plasma television panel that might affect the operation of other infrared controlling equipment. 3 Bright and dark spots High precision technology is used to manufacture the plasma television. But there maybe points that do not illuminate, points that are too bright, and points with color different from that of the periphery. Please note that this is not a malfunction. 4 Picture Image In some cases, residual images may remain after the short term display of still images when the picture changes. 5 Display panel surface temperature is too high. The plasma display panel display images by means of electrical discharges inside the panel. This may cause the temperature of the panel surface to increase. Please note that this is not a malfunction. 6 Plasma Surface A reinforced glass filter is installed over the plasma panel surface. A strong impact to the front panel risk a danger of glass breakage. 7 Transportation 8 Granular spots Please transport the plasma television in it's packing box and placed in an upright position. Do not transport the plasma television in a horizontal position. This increases the posibility of panel breakage and pixel failure. When a screen is seen at point-blank range, a random fine grain may be visible in the dark areas of the picture. 9 High temperature environment High temperature affect the electric discharge/luminescence characteristic of the PDP panel. Do not place the plasma television in high temperature environments. 10 Operation 11 Storage 12 Power ON or OFF Operating altitude: 700 to 1,114hPa (9,676ft to -2,484ft). This is caused by timing differences in the broadcast signal or DVD content and is not caused by a defect in the television. 14 Control Buttons Response Delay There's a few seconds response delay on the control buttons (Control panel or R/C) after the TV is turned ON; due to TV start-up routine.
