TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM No Power Peculiar Odor Discoloration of water in the reservoir Mineral build-up on cooling media Not cooling POSSIBLE CAUSE • Unit is not plugged in • No power at unit • Top cover not seated properly • Cooling media is new • Unit may have a dirty tank, water reservoir, or cooling media • Water in tank or reservoir may be old • New cooling media • Hard water used • Out of water SOLUTION • Plug unit in • Press the Power Button to turn the unit on • Check circuits and fuses or try a different outlet • Remove top cover and re-seat • The cooling media may emit a slight odor which will dissipate after a few days • Follow instructions described in the Cleaning and Care Section • Discoloration will dissipate after a few days of operation • Use distilled water • Refill water tank • Outside of recommended cooling zone • Use within 6-FT of the unit's front grill • Cooler ambient temperature • Use in warmer and / or less and /or high humidity humid conditions conditions • Pump filter clogged Replace cooling media LED is illuminated after media replacement • Cooling media reset button not activated • Clean pump filter as instructed in the Cleaning and Care Section • Press and hold the cooling media reset button for 5-seconds until the LED flashes 12
