TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM • Doesn't work • Indicator flashes red and blue POSSIBLE CAUSE • Not charged • Side buttons not pressed in and/or power button has not been pressed • Charging cable plugged in SOLUTION • Charge following the "Charging your Portable Sanitizer Wand" • instructions Press and hold both side buttons. Short press the power button while keeping the side • buttons pressed in Unplug charging cord to sanitize • UV-C LEDs are damaged • Do not attempt to use again. Contact HoMedics Consumer Relations FAQS HOW DO I KNOW IF THE WAND IS WORKING? The light ring will flash blue indicating the UV-C LEDs are on and sanitizing. Use the UV-C test strip for proof of the UV-C LED's effectiveness. LED INDICATOR KEEPS FLASHING RED. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Flashing red means the safety mechanism is not engaged. Please make sure to press and hold both side buttons after a short press of the power button. IS THIS SAFE TO USE ON ELECTRONIC DEVICES? Yes, UV CLEAN uses UV-C light, not water or chemicals. UV-C light kills germs and is completely safe for use on electronic devices. WHAT CAN IT SANITIZE? The UV CLEAN Portable Sanitizer Wand was designed to sanitize just about anything.
