The heater can only resume operation when you reset it. To R e set the H e ater: If the unit shuts down: 1. Unplug unit. 2. Wait 30 minutes for unit to cool down. 3. Plug in and operate normally. O P E R A T IN G IN S T R U C T IO N S 1. Press the POWER Button to turn the heater on. The POWER and Eco-Smart™ Buttons will illuminate indicating that the heater is on and the Eco-Smart™ mode is activated. The heater will turn off after 4 hours of operation. (See USING Eco-Smart™ TECHNOLOGIES for the detailed heater function in this mode.) 2. Press the Eco-Smart™ Button to turn the Eco-Smart™ mode off. The heater will operate continuously on high wattage and only the POWER Button will illuminate. 3. Press the POWER Button at any time to turn the heater off. U S IN G E C O -S M A R T ™ T E C H N O L O G IE S Your heater features two Eco-Smart™ Technologies that are automatically activated when your heater is turned on or the Eco-Smart™ button is activated (Eco-Smart™ button is illuminated). Eco-S m a rt™ P o w er: T IP - O V E R S H U T- O F F The heater automatically cycles between high and low wattages. If the heater is knocked over, it will instantly shut off. To reset, simply place the heater in an upright position and turn ON the heater. E c o - S m a r t ™ 4 - H o u r C y c l e T im e r : When Eco-Smart™ is activated and the Eco-Smart™ Button is illuminated, the heater will automatically start a timer that will turn the heater off after 4 continuous hours of use.
