WARNING: This Engine Starting Procedure is not a substitute for reading the operator's manual.To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand operator's manual before using this product. TO START: 1 2.6 oz. 1 GALLON GAS 50:1 Ratio = Mix 2.6 oz 2-cycle oil with 1 gallon of fresh gasoline in separate gas container. SHAKE. Pour into fuel tank. 2 Slowly press the PRIMER BULB 10x or until fuel appears. 3 SET choke lever to FULL choke. ENGINE STARTING PROCEDURE 4 9 4 Lock throttle/cruise control lever. 5 Pull starter grip and rope until engine attempts to start (4X max.) 6 SET choke lever to HALF choke. 5 7 7 Pull starter grip and rope until engine starts (6X max.) NOTE: If the unit has not started, return to step 3. 8 Allow the engine to warm for 10 seconds, SET choke lever to RUN. 36 8 TO STOP: 9 PRESS and HOLD stop switch until engine stops. TO RESTART A HOT ENGINE: If the engine/unit is already hot: SET choke lever to RUN. Lock throttle/cruise control lever. PRESS and HOLD stop switch until
engine stops.
TO STOP:
Lock throttle/cruise control lever.
SET choke lever to FULL choke.

SET choke lever to HALF choke.
Pull starter grip and rope until engine starts (6X max.)
NOTE: If the unit has not started, return to step 3.

TO RESTART A HOT ENGINE:
If the engine/unit is already hot:
Lock throttle/cruise control lever.
SET choke lever to RUN.
Pull starter grip and rope until engine starts.
