PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT 7-Day Program and Operation Your thermostat is 7-day programmable. 7-day programming means you can set your thermostat for four periods (Wake, Leave, Return and Sleep) and up to eight temperatures (four Heat and four Cool) for each day of the week. Each day can be the same or different. Program Periods: WAKE The program period when you want the house at a comfortable temperature when you get up and while you get ready for work or school. (This is a higher temperature during the heating season and a cooler temperature during the cooling season.) LEAVE The program period you can set for an energy saving temperature while you are away at work or school. (This is a lower temperature during heating season, and higher temperature during cooling season) and it follows the WAKE period. RETURN The program period when you want the house at a comfortable temperature for activities before bedtime. (This is a higher temperature during the heating season and a cooler temperature during the cooling season) and it follows the energy-saving LEAVE period. SLEEP The program period you set for an energy-saving temperature while you are sleeping. (This is a lower temperature during heating season, and higher temperature during cooling season) and it follows the RETURN period. 28 69-1536-3
