CONTROLS Throttle Control The throttle control regulates the engine speed and thereby the rate of rotation of the blades, assuming the blade switch is pulled out, see Engaging the Mower Deck. In order to increase or decrease the engine speed, the control is moved forward or back respectively. Avoid idling the engine for long periods, as there is a risk of fouling the spark plugs. USE FULL THROTTLE WHEN MOWING, for best mower performance and battery charging. Throttle control Hour Meter The hour meter displays the total operating time with the blade activated. The display on the hour meter will turn on the oil can icon after every fifty hours of use and will stay on for two hours or until the meter is manually reset. To manually reset the timer, turn the ignition key to the run position and then engage and disengage the blade switch five times at one second intervals. Hour meter Fuel Shut Off Valve The fuel shut off valve is centered behind the rear of the seat. Hour Meter
The hour meter displays the total operating time with
the blade activated.
The display on the hour meter will turn on the oil can
icon after every fifty hours of use and will stay on
for two hours or until the meter is manually reset. To
